We went to Squaw Creek Reservoir on Sunday 11/30/25. The weather was cold and windy. Wind chill around 20 degrees and lake was choppy. Brody and his wife met us at the boat dock. We discussed the weather situation and decided to continue the trip. There were 6 total members of my family including me. We were wanting to catch catfish. We left the dock around 8am and Brody took us to the usual place where he catches a lot of catfish. The wind was relentless, but we fished there for about two hours everyone was miserable from the cold, but we caught around 17 fish. Brody suggested that we move to another location and see if we could find a place more sheltered from the wind. He took us to another location where the wind wasn’t so bad and we started fishing again. Brody and his wife were determined to get us on some fish. Their hands were frozen from the weather but they were steady working to bait everyone’s hooks and land the fish that we caught. The new location was more friendly from the wind and was great for fishing. We ended up with 79 total catfish when we stopped fishing around 12:30. Brody took us back to the dock and he and his wife cleaned and bagged the fish for us. What could have been a disaster, turned into a wonderful experience for the whole family group, of fishing and interaction with Brody and his wife, who both were amazing and obviously very experienced in doing their jobs and providing awesome service to their customers in terrible weather conditions. I would give Brody and his wife both a solid 12 out of 10, because they went above and beyond our expectations. If you want a professional guide who will go the extra mile for his clients, then Brody is the best I have ever seen. Freddie Watson Granbury Texas. 👍

Beautiful morning on the water. We were marking fish most of the trip. Captain Brody worked his butt off trying to get them to bite. Through everything at them including the kitchen sink! But the fish had lock jaw. That’s why they call it fishing not catching. Kept enough for a meal though. Great time and we will be back! Thanks Captain Brody and his wife for a fun trip

Brody and Sherise were fantastic guides. Unfortunately, the fish weren’t biting to well due to the rain and north northeast winds, but we had a blast. They were on time and very accommodating. We did come home with a couple of catfish and my grandson didn’t want to go back to the cabin. They really tried their best to put us on catching fish. I personally would have rather participated more in the “fishing” not just “catching” facet of the trip though. Reeling in fish is exiting, but the whole experience of learning how to bait the hook and casting the line is also important for beginners. Thanks for the trip Captain Huntley! I know you would’ve liked us to catch more fish, as would’ve we. My grandson is still talking about the catfish he caught on the lake! See you next year.

Brody was extremely patient with our group of eclectic personalities and quirks. We jad a party of 5. 2 old people, a newly married couple with their infant, and a difficult young man with a short temper. He handled it with professionalism and kept us all on task to get as many fish as possible. His expertise and instinct on the boat were a pleasure to witness and learn from. He answered all our questions and when we were loud or arguing with each other or distracted he was always diplomatic redirecting us to get our money's worth! We could all tell he loves what he does and that totally bleeds through into the experience. He even processes and bags your catch for you quickly and expertly. It's worth every penny if I could give 10 stars I would. 10/10 recommend.

The family had a great time fishing with Brody. We caught a bunch of fish, he was super friendly and helpful. We have done several charter trips in other states and this was the best according to the family. We probably won’t be back in Texas for a while, but if we were coming back soon, we would definitely go with Hundley’s Guide Service again.

We went out with Hundley’s guide service on 3/30 at Benbrook lake.They have a nice boat for getting around and was well equipped for fishing. They tried their best get us on some fish, but the weather wasn’t cooperating with us. We still managed to put a few fish (hybrid, crappie, Striper and catfish) in the boat. Even though we didn’t limit, we had a good time and learned a few new things too!
